Today I feel the first prayer burning out of me, and I want to share a little about my story with you so that you will be strengthened in your faith as you pray through it.
(If you just want to start praying, you can scroll down to the Prayer section.)

About 5 years ago, I was in a terribly toxic environment with word curses being spoken over me on the daily. I was completely alone in a different country, on lock-down, and I found myself suffocating under the weight of despair, depression, anxiety and Imposter Syndrome. When I cried out to God in my isolation, God spoke to me and said these are not natural, and these are not my identity, and that it was time to become a Commander.

What is the first rule of Command? COMMAND! Christ was sent on our behalf not only so that we could be free from sin and death, but also so that we could be healed – not only of our physical wounds but our mental illnesses and emotional wounds. When Jesus spoke to demons, He commanded them to come out. His command demonstrates his total, divine authority over these spirits, and shows us the awesome power of the spoken Word in spiritual warfare.

“And when Jesus saw that a crowd came running together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, ‘You mutant spirit, I command you, come out of him, and never enter him again.’” – Mark 9:25

Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be quiet (muzzled, silenced), and come out of him!” The unclean spirit threw the man into convulsions, and screeching with a loud voice, came out of him. They were all so amazed that they debated and questioned each other, saying, “What is this? A new teaching with authority! He commands even the unclean spirits (demons), and they obey Him.” Mark 1:25-27

Christ has been given to us not only to bridge the gap and to allow us to enjoy eternal life, but also to enjoy the same power that He had.
“how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.” – Acts 10:38

“And He called to Him His twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every affliction.” – Matthew 10:1

“And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues.” – Mark 16:17

“And He called the twelve together and gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases.” – Luke 9:1

This is not exclusive to the twelve. We have been given the same authority through our life in Christ!

“Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.” – John 14:12

“But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere.” – 2 Corinthians 2:14

“I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” – John 16:33

So armed with this knowledge, I spoke with fire and fury at the spirits of depression, anxiety, fear, despair, and imposter syndrome, and I told them they had no right in my life and I cast them out. I swept all of the rooms and asked the Holy Spirit to come up and take residence in every part of my life that these spirits had been, and I was overcome by a peace that surpasses all understanding – and I have never in the last 5 years struggled with any of those spirits again because I make SURE that I stay grounded in my identity in Christ in those areas.
With all that said, if you struggle with depression (or have taken it on as your whole identity), I am speaking to you right now, directly, and telling you it ends now. If you are saved, pray the power prayer I’ve written and command depression to leave. Cast off that false identity and take up your identity in Christ.

(If you are not saved yet, then invite Jesus into your life as your Lord and Savior first, and THEN do the prayer!)

I speak not as one who has conquered depression, anxiety, and imposter syndrome—but as one who has been delivered from it! By that I mean that Christ himself conquered death and all these other spirits, and I then get to reap the benefit of that. I get to live in freedom and fullness, because in scripture it says that He whom the Son sets free is free indeed! I believe it and I am living proof of it.

So if God sent Jesus Christ to die on the cross so that you could be free from depression, there is no reason for you to still be struggling with it or holding onto it. You must be delivered from it. You must cast it out. And you must let go of it and not pick it back up again like a cute jacket from a few seasons ago because it was your “whole personality.” It is not your personality, it is not your identity, and it has nothing to do with who you are, or who God has called you to be.

Cast off the old person, cast off depression, cast off anxiety, and cast out imposter syndrome because they have no right in your life; and live fully, securely, in who you are in the identity that Christ has already given to you.

Imposter Syndrome lies to you about your identity so that you will not step into your calling. It’s not a just a ‘feeling’ you have about not being good enough. It is an actual spiritual entity speaking directly into your ear/ mind/ heart, lying to you about your God-given identity! And are you going to put up with that? No! If you can be stopped from stepping into your identity because you ‘feel like an imposter’ then you’re no longer a threat to the enemy. And of course you know that we don’t battle against flesh and blood—this is a spiritual war we are in the midst of!

So all of the invisible things that you suffer from in silence? This ends now.
Below is my prayer for you to be free from Depression, Fear, Anxiety, and Imposter Syndrome. I will also record and audio version of this prayer for you to listen to on YouTube soon!

This is your moment of deliverance and breakthrough, so let’s go!

Prayer for Freedom from Depression, Fear, Anxiety, and Imposter Syndrome (and other related spirits

A few notes before we begin: This prayer is to be prayed aloud and actively agreed with. While God can hear your prayers inside your head, the demons cannot; Demons/ spirits must actively, vocally be rebuked with spoken authority. Jesus is, after all, the Living Word, not the ‘Quietly Thought Prayer In Your Head.’ It is now your time to Command – not to be hesitant or shy. You’re fed up and telling these spirits that they no longer have a right to your life because you belong to Him! You are a new creation in Christ, your identity is in Him, and they no longer get to lie to you!

Father God,
I come boldly before Your throne of grace, covered by the blood of Jesus Christ (Hebrews 4:16; Ephesians 2:13). I thank You that I have access to You—not because of my own works, but because Jesus paid for my full redemption (Ephesians 2:8–9; Colossians 1:14). I enter Your courts with praise (Psalm 100:4). I worship You, King of Glory (Psalm 24:8–10). You are my Deliverer, my Defender, and the lifter of my head (Psalm 18:2; Psalm 3:3). You are not far off. You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). You see me. You love me. And You have not left me in this pit (Psalm 40:2).
I thank You that I am seated with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6), and I take my rightful seat now. I declare that I am hidden in Christ (Colossians 3:3), surrounded by heavenly hosts (Psalm 91:11–12; 2 Kings 6:17), and fully covered by Your glory (Exodus 33:22).
I declare that I belong to You—body, soul, and spirit (1 Thessalonians 5:23). I am not forsaken. I am not forgotten. I am not abandoned (Deuteronomy 31:6; Isaiah 49:15–16). I am loved by the Father (1 John 3:1). I am adopted into the family of God (Romans 8:15). I am not alone (John 14:18).
Let every lying spirit be bound (Matthew 18:18). Let no retaliation, backlash, physical attack, or transfer occur (Luke 10:19). Let every demonic spy, lying spirit, and monitoring spirit be silenced, bound, gagged, and blinded by angelic hosts assigned to me now (Psalm 91:11; Hebrews 1:14).
Father, Righteous Judge,
I present every spirit of depression, fear, anxiety, panic, torment, dread, confusion, and impostor syndrome that has oppressed me before You in the Courts of Heaven (Daniel 7:9–10). I place these spirits on trial now. I present them for judgment. I bring every lie they have spoken—every whisper, lie, accusation, and false identity—under Your righteous gavel (Revelation 12:10–11; John 8:44).
I plead the blood of Jesus over every legal access point (Revelation 12:11).
I repent for aligning with these lies (Acts 3:19). I renounce every inner vow I made in fear (2 Timothy 1:7). I repent for believing I had to hide, perform, strive, or disappear (Galatians 3:3). I break agreement with hopelessness, isolation, mental torment, depression, anxiety, fear, social anxiety, and despair (Isaiah 61:3; Romans 15:13). I renounce every false identity that said I’m not good enough, not smart enough, not worthy enough, not called, not loved (Ephesians 1:4–5; 1 Peter 2:9).
(Say aloud any other lies you’ve been told here – and don’t repeat them or come into agreement with them again).
Father, I repent for every agreement I made with depression, fear, despair, hopelessness, shame, anxiety, and heaviness (Isaiah 61:3). I repent for believing the lies of the enemy that told me things will never get better, that I am worthless, or that nothing will ever change (John 8:44; Romans 12:2).
Father, I repent for coming into agreement with depression, despair, hopelessness, and numbness. I repent for every time I let heaviness, gloom, and anxiety become my identity (Isaiah 61:3). I repent for speaking death over my life (Proverbs 18:21), for saying “I’ll never get better,” “I’ll always feel this way,” “I’m just a depressed person,” “I’m always depressed,” or “nothing will ever change.” I repent for accepting diagnoses from doctors as my new identity (Jeremiah 30:17). And I repent for refusing to be free from depression because I had adopted it as my identity and was afraid I wouldn’t know who I am without it defining me (John 8:36).
I repent and break the power of those words now, in Jesus’ name.
I repent for listening to the voice of fear (John 10:5) and letting it define my actions. I repent for letting hopelessness cloud my faith (Hebrews 11:1). I repent for allowing the spirit of heaviness to weigh down my joy (Nehemiah 8:10). I break agreement with every word curse I spoke over myself (Proverbs 6:2)—even thoughts like “I can’t do this,” “I hate my life,” “I wish I was dead,” or “I wish I weren’t here.” I renounce every suicidal thought and every dark longing for death or escape. I choose life (Deuteronomy 30:19).
I forgive every person who labeled me, rejected me, mocked me, or abandoned me (Colossians 3:13; Ephesians 4:32). I forgive those who planted doubt about my worth and those who partnered with the enemy to silence my voice and paralyze my purpose (Genesis 50:20).
(List off specific people who come to mind right now, and forgive them for the things that popped up in your mind as you were praying this section).
I forgive every person who hurt me, or made me feel small, voiceless, or unworthy. I release them into Your hands. And I forgive myself—for giving up on hope, for believing lies, for not protecting my heart when I should have.
I forgive myself—for giving up on hope, for believing lies, for not protecting my heart when I should have (Proverbs 4:23).
I also forgive myself for participating in these lies. I forgive myself for allowing fear to shape my identity (Romans 8:15). I forgive myself for stepping out of my God-given identity. And God, I forgive You for all the times it felt like You abandoned or rejected me, and I ask Your forgiveness for judging You wrongly (Psalm 13:1–2; Job 42:3–6).
I now take responsibility for my own healing and invite You, Jesus, into every broken place (Psalm 147:3).
I cancel every lie and every word curse (Isaiah 54:17). I speak life instead (Proverbs 18:21).
I now renounce and cast out every spirit of depression and heaviness, anxiety, panic, terror, dread, fear of man, fear of judgment, fear of punishment, fear of the future, self-rejection, performance-based worth, false identity, and impostor spirit (Mark 16:17; Luke 10:19).
I renounce every spirit of despair, hopelessness, grief, apathy, weariness, suicidal ideation, and death (Romans 8:2). I cast you out in the name of Jesus (Mark 16:17). I reject you. You are no longer welcome in my body, soul, or spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19–20). You have no right to torment me. You have no legal access to my life. I evict you now—go to the feet of Jesus for judgment! (Matthew 8:29). The blood of Jesus stands against you (Revelation 12:11).
You have no place in me. You no longer have any legal right. You are trespassing on holy ground (1 Corinthians 3:16–17).
I declare: I am bought with the blood of Jesus (1 Corinthians 6:20). My life is not your territory.
Every lying spirit that told me I was alone or unloved—go now, in Jesus’ name (John 8:44).
Every dark voice that tempted me to give up or give in—I silence you by the blood of the Lamb (Revelation 12:11).
I break every generational curse of depression, suicide, fear, mental torment, instability, and emotional affliction (Galatians 3:13).
You have no place in me. You have no right to my mind, emotions, or identity (2 Corinthians 10:4–5). I rescind every contract, every oath, every ungodly soul tie and agreement (James 4:7). I cancel every demonic assignment against my life and purpose (Isaiah 54:17). I command every spirit hiding in darkness to be exposed and removed in Jesus’ name.
I break every bloodline agreement with sorrow, fear, suicide, or mental illness. I cancel every assignment of darkness against my mind and soul.
Depression will not be my inheritance. The joy of the Lord is my inheritance and my strength! (Nehemiah 8:10; Psalm 16:6).
I declare: The curse is broken. The cycle ends with me (Nahum 1:9).
Because of what Jesus did on the cross (Colossians 2:14–15), I cancel every demonic assignment against my soul. I rescind every legal right, every soul tie, every open door, every spoken agreement with darkness (Ephesians 5:11). I cancel every attack against my mind, my sleep, and my emotional state (Psalm 4:8). I take back my peace (John 14:27).
Jesus, I invite You into every room of my soul (Revelation 3:20). Occupy every place once filled with the spirits we just cast out (Matthew 12:43–45). Fill every corner with Your peace (Philippians 4:7). I enthrone You as King over my identity (Isaiah 9:6–7). I receive Your truth: I have a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). I am not broken. I am not behind. I am not disqualified (Romans 8:1). I am called. I am chosen (1 Peter 2:9). I am seated with You in heavenly places, clothed in dignity, purpose, and glory (Ephesians 2:6; Isaiah 61:3).
Jesus, I invite You to take full residence in every place that was once occupied by fear, depression, or heaviness. Fill me with joy unspeakable and full of glory (1 Peter 1:8). Fill me with peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7). Fill me with laughter that breaks the chains (Psalm 126:2). Fill me with Your light (John 8:12).
I receive the oil of joy instead of mourning and the garment of praise instead of the spirit of heaviness (Isaiah 61:3).
I receive a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). I receive boldness (Acts 4:31). I receive courage (Joshua 1:9).
I receive power, love, and clarity (2 Timothy 1:7). I receive hope (Romans 15:13).
Father, I call back every part of me that was lost in the fog of depression (Joel 2:25). I call home every piece of my heart that sat in darkness (Isaiah 58:8). I ask You to send angels to retrieve any fragmented parts of my soul that were broken by trauma, betrayal, or hopelessness (Psalm 7:2; Psalm 23:3). Restore me, God—body, soul, and spirit (1 Thessalonians 5:23). Let every place that was numb come back to life now (Ezekiel 37:5–6).
Restore me to joy and full awareness (Psalm 51:12).
Lord Jesus, I invite You now into every space that was once filled with despair. Come and fill me with joy, peace, and hope (Romans 15:13). Let Your light shatter and remove every shadow in my soul (John 1:5). Let the sun rise again in my spirit (Malachi 4:2). Rewire my thoughts with truth (Romans 12:2). Refresh my emotions with life (Psalm 19:7–8). Rebuild me from the inside out (Psalm 51:10). Fill me to overflowing! (John 7:38)
I thank You for the fruit of the Spirit, and I now take love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, kindness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22–23).
Father, I seal this deliverance in the blood of Jesus (Exodus 12:13; Revelation 12:11). Let Your Holy Spirit fill every space where depression once lived (Luke 11:24–26). Let Your angels surround me now (Psalm 91:11). Let no demon return (Matthew 12:45). Let my identity be rooted in Christ (Colossians 2:7), not in what I felt or suffered.
I am no longer a slave to fear or a prisoner of sorrow. I am a child of joy (Psalm 30:11).
Father, send forth angels now to retrieve and recover every stolen and fractured piece of my soul and every spirit fractal (Psalm 34:7). Where trauma shattered me, where fear fractured me, where shame splintered me—I call every part to return home (Psalm 23:3). Let every soul fragment and spirit fractal be washed in the blood of Jesus and restored whole (1 John 1:7). I break every prison door (Isaiah 61:1). I call home every stolen memory, frozen place, and lost identity now (Joel 2:25).
Father, send Your angels to recover every fragment of me that was shattered through trauma, grief, betrayal, or abuse. (Psalm 7:2, Psalm 23:3). Let each piece be cleansed in the blood of Jesus and restored to me—whole and holy.
Every part of me trapped in the dark, hidden in fear, or weighed down with grief—come home now (Psalm 18:28). I call my soul into alignment with Heaven (Psalm 103:1). I call my emotions into alignment with truth (John 17:17). I command joy to return (Psalm 51:12).
I receive the oil of joy instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of heaviness, and the Spirit of Adoption instead of fear (Isaiah 61:3; Romans 8:15). I declare: I am not alone. I am not abandoned. I am not forgotten (Deuteronomy 31:6; Isaiah 49:15–16). I am a child of the Most High God, and He is for me—and if God is for me, who can be against me? (Romans 8:31).
I receive Your joy, clarity, identity, and freedom (2 Corinthians 3:17). I receive rest (Matthew 11:28–29). I receive peace (John 14:27). I receive purpose (Ephesians 2:10).
I receive my inheritance (Ephesians 1:11–14).
Thank You, Lord. I seal this deliverance in the blood of the Lamb (Revelation 12:11). Let no door be reopened (Revelation 3:7). Let no lie return (John 8:32). I declare permanent freedom and divine fire over my life, my mind, and my purpose (Hebrews 12:29).
I declare: I will live and not die (Psalm 118:17). I will not give up. I will not go back. I will not lose hope (Hebrews 10:23). I will walk in freedom (Galatians 5:1). I will walk in peace (Colossians 3:15). I will walk in power (Acts 1:8). I will walk in joy (Romans 14:17).
Because I know that He whom the Son sets free is free indeed! (John 8:36)
Yes, Lord! I AM FREE IN JESUS’ NAME! 🔥
In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

 Read on Substack

God Is Not Bound by the Limits You Place on Him

http://micheleaimee.weebly.com/blog-fire-and-ink/god-is-not-bound-by-the-limits-you-place-on-him

http://micheleaimee.weebly.com/blog-fire-and-ink/god-is-not-bound-by-the-limits-you-place-on-him#comments

Uncategorized

Part One of God Is Never Surprised My dear warrior,If you’ve ever found yourself asking “where is God in all of this?” or thinking that God doesn’t answer prayers anymore, this is for you.Over the past few years, I’ve frequently been challenged by others about the Goodness of God. When faced with great evil in the world or when we see terrible things happen to good people, often the reactionary statements go something along these lines: See? God doesn’t answer prayers anymore. He never expected there to be 8 billion of us on this planet at once! He messed up when He created us, and now He can’t possibly keep up with all of the prayers of 8 billion people on this planet, with everyone always asking and demanding things all day long. He obviously got overwhelmed and decided to check out, like, “Nope! There’s too many of you. You’re on your own now!”

Usually, it’s such a quick dismissal that there is no room for discussion: God doesn’t answer my prayers, I’m upset, end of discussion.

For those of you looking for answers, this series is going to dive into the facts that: God is not limited, that God did not make any mistakes, God is not surprised, and God has never been surprised by anything that has ever happened. He was not surprised by the Fall of man, or by Christ’s crucifixion, both of which I will write about later on in this series. He’s not surprised by evil, He’s not surprised by your pain, He’s not surprised by losses that we’ve endured. He’s not surprised by war or famine or any of the things that are going on in the world.

The entire argument that God messed up or that He’s overwhelmed begins with the faulty presupposition that He is limited like we are. That He gets caught off guard. That His attention can be spread too thin. That He cannot possibly keep up.

He is, first and foremost, not human, and therefore is not encumbered by the same limitations we are. “God is not a man, that He should lie, or a son of man, that He should change His mind.” (Numbers 23:19)

These arguments project human limitations on God. As A.W. Tozer said, “Left to ourselves we tend immediately to reduce God to manageable terms.” And again: “The most portentous fact about any man is not what he at a given time may say or do, but what he in his deep heart conceives God to be like.” (Knowledge of the Holy)

Let’s begin.

Is God limited?

God is not limited in His power simply because we are limited in our understanding. “Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.” (Isaiah 40:28)

Just because you are limited in your imagination doesn’t mean that God is. “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:8–9)

Trying to fit God in our little box of human understanding is like the prisoners in Plato’s Cave, mistaking the shadows on the wall for reality itself. The shadows are all they can see—their understanding is limited—but that doesn’t mean the sun and the real world outside the cave do not exist. Or imagine peering at a blazing horizon through a pinhole: you would catch only a fragment of light but never the full expanse; only a small piece of the picture, but never the splendor of seeing the entirety of the horizon with perfect eyes unfettered. Our inability to recognize the fullness of God does not diminish the reality of who He is.

Human limitation projected onto God is still human limitation. It does not lessen or limit God, it only exposes our own lack of understanding.

Is He limited by space and time?

God is outside of time and space—He had to be in order to create it! In the beginning, He created time, space and matter—the framework of reality. The Trinity of creation. None of those things existed until God spoke them into existence. And if He created them, then He cannot be bound or limited by them.

When God created time, there was no such thing as “before.” When He created space, there was no such thing as “where.” And when He created matter, there was no such thing as “what.” The very categories that define our existence are the work of His hands.
Scripture confirms this: He is outside of time — “I am God, and there is no other… declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done” (Isaiah 46:9–10). He is outside of space — “Do I not fill heaven and earth? declares the Lord” (Jeremiah 23:24). And He is the Creator of matter itself — “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1); “All things were made through Him, and without Him was not anything made that was made” (John 1:3).

As C.S. Lewis said:

“Almost certainly God is not in Time. His life does not consist of moments following one another. If a million people are praying to Him at ten-thirty tonight, He has ‘infinite leisure’ to listen to each one of them as if He had all the time in the world.
If you picture Time as a straight line along which we have to travel, then you must picture God as the whole page on which the line is drawn. We come to the parts of the line one by one: we have to leave A behind before we get to B, and cannot reach C until we leave B behind. God, from above or outside or all round, contains the whole line, and sees it all.
This idea has helped me a good deal. If it does not help you, leave it alone. The thing it is trying to get at is that God has infinite attention, infinite leisure to spare for each one of us. He does not have to deal with us in the mass. You are as much alone with Him as if you were the only being He had ever created. When Christ died, He died for you individually just as much as if you had been the only man in the world.”

You might ask what that means for you. It means that God is with you every moment of every day without His attention ever being divided. “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5). “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20). “Where can I go from your Spirit? This is one of those monumental moments we last experienced on 9/11. Everyone will remember exactly where they were when they found out that Charlie Kirk had been murdered. My heart has ached so violently in my chest this week, and, like millions of others, that horrific moment I witnessed played on an endless loop in my head. I don’t think I slept at all for the first four or five days. I will never be able to unsee it—just like 24 years ago when we all saw the twin towers get hit.
For those of you who don’t know, Charlie Kirk was a man of God. He was not a fascist or a white supremacist or racist or any of the things the media tried to make him out to be. Just watch a few of his videos, and you’ll see for yourself.

Charlie Kirk was a Christian. A husband. A father of two small children. A brother in Christ. He believed in free speech, and like the Apostle Paul, he went out into the world not to shut people down, but to have real conversations. He spoke with both truth-seekers and challengers who came to prove him wrong. He debated so people could see all sides, instead of being trapped in echo chambers. He was an autodidact—brilliant, quick-minded, relentless in his pursuit of truth. That was his calling: to be so courageous in his faith that he might open people’s eyes to truth and reality.
And yet, for all his brilliance, what struck people the most was his heart. He was kind. He was patient in a way most of us could never be, because he truly loved people and had a heart for the lost and broken. Even when facing hostility, he stayed steady—not because he was trying to win an argument, but because he genuinely wanted people to encounter truth. That kind of patience is only born of love.

He put himself out there knowing he might die for his beliefs, knowing he would be hated. And Jesus warned us: “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first” (John 15:18). Charlie walked into that reality with courage, because he knew the truth was worth it, and because he knew the One who is the Truth.

I want to make an important distinction today. Christians celebrate life. Only demons celebrate death. While millions gathered all over the world to mourn his death, to hold vigils and memorials, to celebrate his life, the sick and twisted cheered. Death culture exposed itself. Those who celebrated and mocked his death revealed what has taken root in their hearts.

If you claim to be a Christian, but you celebrated the murder of this man of God, a husband, and father of two children, you need to take a serious look at what demons you have allowed to take up residence in your heart.

This is your call to action: God is calling you up and out of that right now. And no, you don’t have to worry about your identity being tied up in politics. Many people fear letting go of what they once vehemently believed, because they think they won’t know who they are anymore.

Let me put your mind at ease: your identity is not wrapped up in your politics. You already have an identity in Christ that God has been waiting for you to step into. An identity He intended for you before He even created you. This is your call to step out of false identity and into your true identity in Him.

Maybe you were part of the party and were disgusted and shocked by the behavior of others celebrating death, or maybe you were one celebrating his death and have now been met with a shocking reality. Here are two prayer options:

Prayer for Stepping Into Identity and Turning from Lies
Father God,
I come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the King of Kings, the Breaker of Chains, the Lion of Judah. I declare that every lie I believed, every echo chamber I lived in, and every deception I swallowed is now shattered by the fire of God!
I renounce every false identity I wore like a cloak.
I sever every chain of fear, intimidation, manipulation, and deception.
I silence every lying voice that has bound me, blinded me, or muted me.
In the name of Jesus, I break every agreement I made with the enemy, knowingly or unknowingly. I command the spirits of fear, deception, and control to leave me NOW and never return. You are evicted from my life, my body, my mind, and my soul by the blood of Jesus!
I declare that I am a son/daughter of God. I step into the true identity You wrote over me before I was even formed. I am filled with the Spirit of Truth, clothed in righteousness, and armed with boldness.
Holy Spirit, flood me with power. Fill every empty space. Ignite my spirit with courage, discernment, and fire. From this day forward, I will walk in truth, speak in truth, and live unashamed of the gospel.
In Jesus’ mighty name—amen!

Prayer if you celebrated death but have now woken up
Father in Heaven,
I come in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Lord of Life and the Slayer of Death. I confess my sin: I celebrated the murder of a man of God. I repent, and I turn from that wickedness NOW.
In the name of Jesus, I bind the spirit of death and I cut out its tongue!
I command every spirit of murder, hatred, mockery, and bloodlust to be stripped of power and cast into the abyss!
I sever every tie to the kingdom of darkness that I formed by celebrating death.
By the blood of Jesus Christ, I declare: I am cleansed. I am redeemed. I am a blood-bought son/daughter of God. No demon has any legal right to me. Every lying spirit and demon, you are evicted from my body, my soul, and my spirit—GO NOW in Jesus’ name!
Lord Jesus, I enthrone You as Lord of my life. Take full residence in me. Holy Spirit, come burn out every residue of darkness and flood me with light. Replace every mocking word I spoke with words of life. Replace every hateful thought with the mind of Christ.
Father, forgive me. I receive Your forgiveness, and I forgive myself. I declare that I am free, I am clean, and I am filled with Your Spirit.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, amen!

To the radicals who have spread hate, vitriol, violence, and lies—who have brainwashed the young, the impressionable, and the weak-minded—you have lost. It seems no matter how many times history repeats itself, the devil never learns: Christians cannot be silenced. Instead, an act like this only wakes the lion. And now, the world is hearing the lion roar. Instead of riots, revival has broken out all over the world. Instead of violence, reverence. Instead of burning things down, we are rising up.

We, the ordinary people—Christians, conservatives, even moderates—have had enough. We are not going to be quiet anymore. The silent majority has been silent long enough. We were told to be tolerant, told to be quiet, threatened with being cancelled if we spoke up for truth—and many of us were. We were painted as extremists simply for existing. And for the sake of peace, we rolled our eyes, turned the other cheek, carried on, and endured. But the longer we stayed silent, the more violent and less tolerant the so-called “party of tolerance” became—riots, burning cities, and attempting to assassinate our President.

And then one of the most impactful voices of our generation became “too much of a threat”—simply for speaking, for challenging radical ideology, for believing there is objective truth and defending it. Because he refused to bow to lies or pressure. They thought that by silencing him, they would silence us all.

How wrong they were. The enemy overplayed his hand and pushed us all over the edge. We’ve had enough.

Look at the actually peaceful protests around the world. Three million people marched in London only days after his murder, chanting his name, and singing Amazing Grace in unison. The Lion of England has awoken. Vigils in London, Germany, Spain, Australia, and across the U.S. as we held our candles and mourned, worship sessions have popped up inspired by him. The Māori performing a haka in his honor. South Koreans marching and chanting We are Charlie Kirk! Every time I see these videos, I get chills. Tears stream down my face as I shout: Yes!

Charlie’s death was not in vain.

Do you know what a martyr is? A martyr is someone whose death ignites faith and action in the world.

Tertullian, an early Christian writer from the late 2nd to early 3rd century, said “the blood of the martyrs is the seedbed of the Church”.

He argued that the martyrdom of believers, rather than weakening the faith, actually strengthened and spread Christianity by inspiring others to convert. The phrase encapsulates the idea that the sacrifice of martyrs fuels the growth and resilience of the Church. The more you kill Christians, the more people become Christians.

I never thought I would see a true martyr in my generation—it always felt like something from the days of old. And yet, here we are. Charlie Kirk is a true martyr. His death has awakened millions.

Prayer for Awakening & Global Roar
Father God,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ—the Lion of Judah, the Resurrection and the Life, the King of Kings, and the Commander of Heaven’s Armies.
We decree that what the enemy meant for evil, You are turning for good!
We bind and annihilate every spirit of death, violence, deception, censorship, manipulation, intimidation, and control in Jesus’ name.
We strip them of all power, sever their tongues, burn their banners, and cast them into the abyss—never to return!
We declare a holy reversal:
• Instead of riots—REVIVAL.
• Instead of burning cities—Let our hearts burn for YOU.
• Instead of silence—let the ROAR of the righteous rise AS ONE!
Lord, we unleash Your fire over every nation! Let the Lion’s roar be heard across all of America, throughout Europe, to Australia, and to the ends of the earth! Shake every system built on lies. Expose corruption. Shatter propaganda. Overthrow deception.
We call the silent majority OUT OF HIDING!
We activate the boldness of the Lion of Judah within us!
We decree that Christians will not bow, will not break, and will not be silenced!
Holy Spirit, sweep across the nations with power. Comfort the mourning, ignite the weary, embolden the meek, and raise up a generation who will walk in uncompromising truth and fearless love. Let the blood of this martyr spark a wildfire of revival that hell cannot quench.
We decree:
• Charlie’s death will not be in vain.
• Billions will awaken to truth.
• A global roar for Jesus Christ will echo louder than the lies of the enemy.
We seal this prayer in the blood of Jesus Christ. It is established in every realm, age, timeline, and dimension. The Lion has roared, and the earth will never be the same.
In Jesus’ mighty name—AMEN!

Thank you, Charlie. It’s not that your life was a drama and now it’s a comedy, because your life will go through every genre at one point or another. The point is this: you are the Main Character. Not a side character. Not a background character. You are called to be more than that. You have a great calling on your life, and it’s time you started living it.

Today I was asked what to do if you feel that creative restlessness. The answer? Create! When you start to feel physically restless because of creative ideas, that is your body, spirit, and soul shaking you and telling you to get up and be creative! Grab a pen and paper and start writing, or drawing, or doodling. Grab a marker and start drawing. Grab a paintbrush and canvas and start putting paint down!

Today a friend told me that he feels indebted to me for helping him understand, realize, and step into new things. But to my friend who prompted this blog, you don’t owe me a thing. No one does. The only debt you owe is to God: to become who He created you to be. If I can help you take a few steps closer to that—if my words, inspiration, experience, insight, writing, presence, or prayers can help unlock something in you—then I have done my job.

Part of my calling is to help release people into their own calling. And that’s all I’ve ever wanted: to see people healed, free, and delivered. To see them unshackled from lies, fear, anxiety, imposter syndrome, doubt, and other lying spirits, and unleashed into their calling. I want to see you doing whatever creative thing burns in your heart, because that’s what you were created to do and who you were designed to be.

I am so grateful to have grown up with a loving, creative family that values creating; because of it, it’s simply how I am and who I am to my core. I realize that I’ve taken that for granted when I talk to people who don’t know how to be creative or what to do when that creative restlessness strikes. So let me share with you what I have grown up knowing: creating/ creativity is not optional. When you feel restless inside, that is your body, spirit, and soul shaking your entire self-contained world and shouting: Get up and create. Write, draw, paint, sing, build, design—whatever it is, don’t ignore that restless shaking from the depths of your soul. It will only get louder and more intense and more jittery until you finally act on that creative impulse. But it’s getting backed up, and you will feel like you can’t create or get your ideas out fast enough if you don’t start when the feelings start. Just let it flow.

One of the best things you can do is have a dedicated place, however small, where your creative tools are out and waiting. A place for you to be disciplined enough to sit down at and create at a regular time, daily. Always be ready for when creativity strikes. Have a messy notebook for words, where you can write without inhibition. An art desk with brushes ready - and a sketchbook where you give yourself permission to be messy and creative and to mess up and make imperfect art. A guitar within arm’s reach. Why? Because when the creative spark strikes, setup time will destroy your momentum. The inspiration will fade if you leave it waiting. You have to be able to seize creativity in that moment, to grab it by the horns and ride it until the last brushstroke, the last note, the last word has poured out.

Don’t worry if you don’t know what to say, or write, or make at first. Start anyway. Write I don’t know what to write I don’t know what to write I don’t know what to write until new thoughts bubble up and begin to flow out of your pen. Doodle nonsense until a form takes shape. Hum a sound until it becomes melody. Just start. Creativity flows once the faucet is turned on.

My dad has always told me to just start writing, even if it’s just telling my journal that I don’t have any ideas and don’t know what to write because it’s like priming the pump. Imagine an old-fashioned water pump. You’ve got to start pumping first and then glug glug the water starts to come up and out of the pump. At first, there will be a lot of brown yucky water that comes out. Just keep pumping until the water runs clear, and then let it flow. Your creative process is the same way. Just let that yucky stuff get out of the way without judging, without flinching, without cringing, and just let the water begin to flow. Then, let yourself get into that flow and stay in it until the creative flow runs completely dry and you’ve worn yourself out and you don’t have one word left, or you can’t lift the brush for even one more brushstroke.

For those of you trying to conserve your ideas, holding on to them for some future moment that will never come because you’re worried about running out of ideas?
— Don’t.

If you fear running out of ideas, let me put your mind at ease: ideas beget more ideas. Creativity is like a muscle: the more you use it, the stronger it will get. The less you use it, the weaker it will be. So don’t hold back, don’t hesitate, don’t judge your work while it’s in progress. Just create. It’s important to get the creativity flowing, to get the ideas on paper, to make things exist first - then you can come back and edit, correct, adjust, and fix things, etc., later. Don’t worry about the flow running out. It’s not going anywhere. “What happens when I run out of creative energy today? Will my ideas disappear?” No no, just like your body runs out of energy, so does your creative spirit — you just need time to refuel in between. The flow is still there; the creative stream will always be there waiting for you to wade back in. Create, eat, sleep, repeat.

Next, it’s important that you understand how your brain works when it comes to the creative process. If you’re crafting fiction, creative stories, poetry or prose—anything imaginative--use pen and paper; it frees your mind to play. Have a dedicated messy notebook that no one else will see, where you can just let loose.

If you’re writing non-fiction, type your words in a Word doc or in your Notes app or dictate to your phone’s notes app—it will help you keep pace with your thoughts.

I suggest you don’t mix up the two—unless you KNOW that you work best in one way or the other. Mixing them up too often can hinder your flow.

My dear warrior, hear me on this: you don’t owe me. You don’t owe the world. You owe God your obedience to the life He called you to live. Step into that life fully. Chase it with all your strength. Become the man or woman He imagined when He first thought of you and go create the things that He predestined you to create. There are scrolls in heaven, ideas, books, and other creative things that God created you to create. Isn’t that amazing? He created you because you are the only one who could write these stories, who could paint those paintings, who could bring life to those animations, who could write those world-shifting non-fiction books, who could sing that song or write that music piece, who could create those new programs, who could build that new company, or who could serve the community with your creative gifting. So don’t hold back! Step into the flow and ask Him:

Holy Spirit, come and fill me with your sap of creativity so that my branches may produce good fruit. I ask that when I reach the end of my life, that my creativity is completely spent and that I will have created everything that I was destined to create - and more! In Jesus name, amen
I’ll be here cheering you on—pen in hand, ready to remind you of who you are when you forget.

With fire and ink,
—Michele

 Read on Substack
